- JCMF 0132 (Holotypus): Dieser Fund besteht teilweise erhaltenen Skelett mit nahezu vollständigem Schädel.[3]

Taxonomie[]
- Jinchuanloong wurde erstmals von N. Li et al. (2025) benannt. Sein Typ ist J. niedu.
- Er wurde der Eusauropoda von N. Li et al. (2025) zugeordnet.[3]
Arten[]
- J. niedu ist die einzige bekannte Art dieser Gattung. Sie wurde 2025 von Ning Li, Xiaoqin Zhang, Xinxin Ren, Daqing Li und Hailu You beschrieben. Das Art-Epitheton kommt aus dem Mandarin und bedeutet so viel wie "Nickelstadt", eine Referenz auf den Fundort in Jinchang, die für ihre reichen Nickelvorkommen bekannt ist..[3]
