Metriacanthosaurinae ("nicht so hoher Stachel-Echsen") ist eine Familie von großen Theropoden und ein Zweig der Allosauroidea.[1]
Geschichte[]
2012 benannten Carrano, Benson & Sampson eine neue Unterfamilie, die Metriacanthosaurinae, in die alle Metriacanthosauriden eingestuft werden, die mehr mit Metriacanthosaurus als mit Yangchuanosaurus verwandt sind.[1]
