- Yuxisaurus wurde erstmals von Yao et al. (2022) benannt. Sein Typ ist Y. kopchicki.
- Er wurde der Thyreophora von Yao et al. (2022) zugeordnet.[3]
Arten[]
- Y. kopchicki ist die einzige bekannte Art dieser Gattung. Sie wurde 2022 von Xi Yao, Paul M. Barrett, Lei Yang, Xing Xu und Shundong Bi beschrieben. Das Art-Epitheton ehrt den Biologen Dr. John J. Kopchick.[3]
